Luke 6

1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

3 And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;

4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?

5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth thy hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;

14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,

16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.

19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.

26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.

30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.

31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.

33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.

34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

43 For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

The Annointed Pace Sisters

The Annointed Pace Sisters -Too Close

The Pace Sisters sings IT'S ALREADY DONE!

The Pace Sisters sings IF I BE LIFTED UP

The Anointed Pace Sisters with MOM

The Anointed Pace Sisters (TAPS) began when they were mere babies singing each night with and for their father before going to bed. Later, the public was introduced to the sisterly harmony and blends that were developed in the kitchen, through church services, school talent shows, and traveling across the country with the “Action Revival Team” founded by Evangelist Gene Martin.

As many predicted, it was just a matter of time before they would began recording. The Anointed Pace Sisters recorded two projects on Faith Records, an Atlanta based independent label founded by Reverend R. L. White. In the early 90’s they were signed to the Savoy Record label. It was then that they experienced the height of their career with the albums U-Know and My Purpose. U-Know took them to number two on the Billboard Gospel chart and the song “When God Is In The Building” could be heard nationwide. Within a matter of years, the group seemed to vanish from the record scene. After a ten year hiatus they released “It’s Already Done” on Gospel Pace Music Inc., an Atlanta based independent label founded by their brother, Bishop M. J. Pace.

Permeating not only the clay hills of Georgia with their sound, TAPS multi appearances on television shows and at churches and venues across the US. The ministry did not stop there, they began touring Europe. After completing “It’s Already Done” TAPS spent the fall of 2002 working on the Paramount Pictures movie, “The Fighting Temptations” starring Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Beyonce’ Knowles. They also did vocals for the movie’s soundtrack, which afforded the opportunity to work with platinum producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Simply put, these ladies are beyond talented. They evangelize, sing, teach, act, and pen their own tunes. Once astounded by the reality of the industry, now strengthen by their love and unity. They are driven by their commitment to ministry. These sisters are poised to take the world by storm, and now being joined with Tyscot Records, they are sure to resume their legacy.

TAPS has truly overcome many obstacles, but has remained faithful to their calling to take the message of Jesus Christ to the world, whether it is collectively or individually. Once you have heard them and seen them you will understand why their name speaks for itself.

The Barnes Family Reunion II

Old Revival Medley

I Owe God Praise

He'll Do Just What He Said

As a teenager in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Bishop Barnes spent most of his time playing piano, singing and directing the choir at the Marks Chapel Baptist Church. After answering his call to the ministry in 1955, Bishop Barnes went on to found the Red Budd Holy Church in 1959 and later, lead the flock at the St. Paul Holy Church in Maple Hill, NC the latter of which he still serves as pastor. It was also during this period that Bishop Barnes received his Doctorate of Divinity degree from the Goldsboro, NC - based United Christian College.

Although pastoring is of great importance to Bishop Barnes, it would be music which would catapult him to national prominence. Around 1979, Bishop Barnes was doing a radio broadcast at WSRV in Rocky Mount, NC, which is where he met Rev. Janice Brown. They recorded "It's Me Again Lord" at home on a reel-to-reel tape recorder just to play on their broadcast. Whenever the song aired, people would call in to the station asking them to play it again. They called so often that the station's manager encouraged them to make a record of it so that he could legally play it. Bishop Barnes and Rev. Brown went into the studio and recorded that song along with "Come On In The Room". The single eventually caught the ear of Wendell Parker who at the time worked at AIR Records. He then played it for Ron Freeman, the owner of the label. Mr. Freeman loved it and he offered them a recording contract. The rest, as it is said, is history.
They eventually would record eight albums together, highlighted by the smash hit song "Rough Side Of The Mountain". The album of the same name remained number 1 on the gospel charts for over a year, selling over 500,000 copies. It continues to sell strongly to this day.
Bishop Barnes formed a group he named Company, which presently consists of his nieces Deborah Barnes, Wanda Barnes, and Lisa Barnes.

During his more than 20 years and 14 releases with AIR, Bishop Barnes has been featured on projects with is son Luther Barnes and the Red Budd Combined Choir. The Bishop also originally organized the Sunset Jubilaires, today one of AIR's most popular artists. "I was their first musician and lead singer", Bishop Barnes remembers. "After I was called into the ministry and began pastoring, it took me away from the group, so my brother Haywood took over as lead singer". The Sunsets now feature Luther as their primary lead singer.

Bishop F.C.Barnes and Elder Luther Barnes and The Sunset Jubilaires were inducted into The AGQC Hall Of Fame in 2010 at The annual AGQC Hall Of Fame and Awards Luncheon.
The Hall Of Fame honor for The Barnes' is a well deserved recognition. This also mark the first time that two entities from the same family have been inducted at the same time. The contributions of Bishop Barnes,Elder Luther and the uncles and cousins have been worldwide impacting.
Bishop Barnes received The North Carolina Folk Heritage Award September 12th, 2000.

Luther Barnes is a record producer, director, songwriter, composer and lead singer of Luther Barnes and the Sunset Jubilaires and the Red Budd Gospel Choir.
As lead singer of Luther Barnes and the Sunset Jubilaires, Red Budd Gospel Choir and the President of Luther Barnes Song Ministries he has received the 1992 Vision Award, and the Stellar and GMWA Excellence Award. He was nominated for his performance on the Barnes Family 1999 release, A Live Reunion, for The Truth Magazine Award, for Best Traditional Male Vocalist, GMWA 2003 Excellence Awards for Best Traditional Male Vocalist, for a Grammy Award Nomination 2004, for a 2005 Stellar Award, and a Gospel Heritage Award. He was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame in Detroit, Michigan, the 2006 Mississippi Gospel Award, and a 2007 Stellar Award nomination for Somehow, Someway, GMA Dove Award nominee 2003, Distinguished award from St Augustine College, Feb. 2008, Key to the City of Brunswick, Georgia, January 2008. Key to the City of Chesapeake, Virginia March 2008. at the Virginia Classic of Chesapeake, Spring Gospel Showcase. He served as performer, judge and participant at the Virginia Annual Showcase 2006-2007. Since 1996, he has hosted The Annual North Carolina Fall Gospel Classic, held at Red Budd Holy Church, Rocky Mount, NC in early October.

Bishop Hezekiah Xzavier Walker, Jr. (born December 24, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York) is a Grammy Award-winning gospel music artist, founder and leader of the Love Fellowship Choir, and Pastor and Bishop of the Love Fellowship Tabernacle, with locations in Brooklyn, New York, and Bensalem, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Bishop Walker is also the Founder and Overseer of the Covenant Keepers International Fellowship, which spiritually covers, giving guidance and direction to, numerous pastors and their churches in the US - including multiple Love Fellowship Tabernacle - The Kingdom Church, with locations throughout the US and in South Africa.

He catapulted into recognition in 1985 for his singing ability with the Grammy Award-winning Love Fellowship Crusade Choir. It was his travels with the Crusade Choir that enabled him to reach people from all walks of life who he had never encountered while growing up in the projects. This, unbeknownst to him at the time, would be the start of his pastoral training, for many of his choir members would eventually become his church members. It was under the tutelage of Pastor Wilbur Jones, of the Beulah Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, the Presiding Prelate of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus Christ, that Walker received his confirmation and ordination into the pastoralship.

I Am God - Donald Lawrence and the Tri-City Singers
Donald Lawrence was born on May 4, 1958. He studied at Cincinnati Conservatory, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in music. While in Cincinnati, he was also the Minister of Music at the Southern Baptist Church on Reading Road. To his credit, Donald's musicality has seen many incarnations, as vocal coach to the R&B group En Vogue, musical director for Stephanie Mills, songwriter for The Clark Sisters, and producer for a host of artists including Peabo Bryson and Kirk Franklin. Donald Lawrence has been an inspiration to many.

Lawrence took on The Tri-City Singers after a friend vacated his position as musical director. The three cities that The Tri-City Singers come from are Spartanburg, SC, Gastonia, NC, and Charlotte, NC. The group debuted in 1993 with A Songwriter's Point Of View on a then-brand-new independent record label called GospoCentric Records. The set debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top Gospel Charts.
The group's follow-up release Bible Stories would top those same charts when it arrived in 1995. It was the first to be billed as Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers and featured black church-ubiquitous hits such as "A Message For The Saints", "I Am God" and "Stranger". The album was released on Lawrence's newly minted label Crystal Rose Records which was distributed through Sparrow Records.

In 1997, Donald Lawrence produced the live portion of Karen Clark Sheard's Grammy-nominated Finally Karen debut. Lawrence & Tri-City also released the seasonal Hello Christmas the same year. Later, Lawrence signed a contract with the Island Records imprint Island Inspirational. Though a live recording did take place for release, the album never materialized.
In 2000, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers signed to EMI Gospel. To promote the new album, a maxi CD of the lead single "Testify" to the mainstream. House remixes by Junior Vasquez sent the song to #33 on Billboard's Mainstream Dance Charts. When tri-city4.com was finally released in late summer 2000, the set peaked at #2 on Billboard's Top Gospel Charts and #13 on Billboard's Heatseekers Charts. The album also got a profile boost from the all-star standout "God's Favor", featuring vocal turns from Karen Clark Sheard, Kim Burrell, and Kelly Price.
In March 2006, The Tri-City Singers announced that they would retire, but not before one last live recording. Finale: Act One and Finale: Act Two were released simultaneously on April 4, 2006.
